Introducing our newest AUDL Partner, the DC Breeze

Layout Ultimate is excited to that we have partnered with the DC Breeze for the 2017 season!

The Breeze have been competing in the AUDL since 2013 (Breeze went 4-12 that year). The team’s future was looking ominous at that time. Luckily, the Breeze found new enthusiasm and support under new management partners such as serial entrepreneurs Don Grage and Kellen Furness. Since 2013, the Breeze have yet to finish a season below .500 and most recently had their best season in 2016 finishing second place in the East Division with a record of 11-5 and their first ever playoff victory.

The Breeze line has been stacked with a depth of players including Brett Matzuka (shoutout to Brett for doing a review in Skyd Magazine for the Layout Glove), Goose Helton, Markham Shofner, Jeff Wodatch and Alan Kolick (who is currently nursing a broken arm from Club Nats, however should be fully healed for the 2017 season).
