United Ultimate League and Layout

Layout is proud to support the Kickstarter for the creation of the United Ultimate League, a gender-equitable league that will showcase the skills of women and men on a level platform. 

Layout provided 30 pairs of gloves to help promote gender equity and the creation of the UUL. At the time of writing this article, the perk for the 30 pairs of Layout Gloves has sold out at this point, however, there are still many awesome perks available to support this cause.

The UUL strives to provide a USA Ultimate-sanctioned league with complete gender equity, showcasing both men and women on the playing field. Gender equity has been a hot topic in the world of sports in recent years—especially in the Ultimate community—and the UUL hopes to set a precedent for the future of Ultimate. 

The gender ratio will be 3:3, making this the first 6v6 Ultimate league and the first to be completely gender equal. The UUL is designed to have strong values of community development and equity at its core. The league promises a bright future for the sport as a whole. 

The Kickstarter for the United Ultimate League ends February 28, 2018 and must be funded in its entirety to make this equitable league come to fruition!
